Brow lamination is designed to straighten the brow hair resulting in an instantly full, lifted and fluffy brow. Many people are mistaking LAMINATION for Microblading, it enhances each natural, individual hair stroke that much! The process essentially involves straightening eyebrow hairs so that all hairs stand in the desired direction. This treatment has INSANE results teamed with Tint.
It can last up to 6-8 weeks. Please follow aftercare instructions!
As the treatment can last up to 6-8 weeks, it is recommended not to do it too close in between. At least a month in between (minimum of 4-5 weeks)
-Keep brows dry for 24 hours.
-Use Growth Brow Oil daily.
-Do not apply make-up or undertake further eye treatments for at least 24 hours after your treatment.
-Avoid swimming/sauna/working out for 24-48 hours. Any excess moisture after this time can cause a slight curl/frizz to the brow hair.
-Do not allow prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat.
-Do not apply Retin-A, AHA, or exfoliate around the brow area for 72 hours either side of the treatment.
-No self tanning products should be used on the face for one week prior, and 48 hours after the treatment.
NOTE: If any stinging or swelling occurs, apply a cold compress to soothe and seek medical advice. Be sure to let the technician know of any adverse reactions.
Brow Tint vs Hybrid Tint
Eyebrow tinting is the process of applying semi-permanent dye to enhance, shape, and define your brows. Do you have light coloured eyebrows and would love to darken them up? Or maybe you have a bald spot that is bugging you. Book in for a brow tint or if youre wanting something more permanent then you may be interested in our cosmetic brow tattoo.
A hybrid tint is a type of brow dye with similar intense and long lastings effects as henna. It is highly pigmented and lasts a lot longer than regular tint. While regular tint can last upto 1 week on the skin and 3 weeks on the hair - hybrid tint can last upto 2 weeks on the skin and 6 weeks on the hair
Brow tint should last up to one week on the skin and up to three weeks on the hair. Tint holds well on people with more dry skin as opposed to oily. This is because oil can break it down and the tint will fade.
Hybrid brow tint can stain the skin for upto 2 weeks and last 6 weeks on the hair (This varies depending on the clients skin and hair)
Normal tint is not intended to stain the skin however in most cases brow tint can stain the skin for up to one week. On the other hand, Hybrid brow tint can stain the skin for upto 2 weeks. This will vary person to person.
It will fade!!!
If your brows look too dark, don’t worry – it will fade. It’s important the colour is a little darker to begin with so the tint lasts. The initial darkness will only last a few days and will get a little closer to the right colour every time you cleanse your face.
Important Note: Brow tint can feel darker on the first day, however, please note this is an important step of the process as the stain continues to oxidise on the skin and settle into its finished shade. The stain will start to fade gradually as soon as the brows are wet.
• Avoid using makeup and facial cleansers around the brow area for the following 24 hours.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, the use of sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms, and swimming pools for 24 hours.
• Avoid exfoliating and using anti-aging products around the brow area for at least two to three days prior to and post-treatment.
• Avoid using any self-tanning products on the face for around two to three days on either side of the treatment. Avoid the temptation to over-touch the brow area after treatment. Touching with fingers can lead to oils entering open pores and clogging them.
I use hard wax for all facial waxing treatments! Not only is it better for facial waxing but it even smells nice too.
No not at the moment. I am currently only doing full facial waxing.
No. If you are using benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid or AHAs, taking Accutane or antibiotics or any medication that lists "sun sensitivity" , using retinoids or have had a Chemical Peel or Laser treatment in the past 2 weeks there are precautions you must take before you can have facial waxing done. If any of the above applies to you and you would like to know more please contact me and i can let you know more in detail about when you may be able to have facial waxing. I can recommend that you can go get facial threading done. I dont offer this currently.
