POWDER BROW

(Digital Machine) Powder brows are done using a machine. We use a tattoo gun to implant pigment into the skin. You will get a more fuller look with this method and will last longer thanmicroblading usually 12-18 months. If you love a "Full" look then this will be your go-to. Please bare in mind that certain factors could mean you HAVE to get this service done as opposed to Microblading or Ombre.

OMBRE BROW

(Digital Machine) Ombre brows are done using a machine. We use a tattoo gun to implant pigment into the skin. You will get a more fuller look with this method and will last longer than microblading usually 12-18 months. If you love a faded out look (towards the inner brow)  then this will be your go-to.

NANO BROW

Nano brows is a semi-permanent tattoo. Like micro bladed brows - it results in leaving you with a full and fluffy (yet natural) looking brows. Nano brows use the cosmetic tattoo technique of creating hair like strokes that do far less damage than microblading but can give similar looking results

COMBINATION BROW

Combination brow includes 2 forms of semi-permanent tattoo techniques : Nano brows and powder brows.

Natural hair strokes are created at the front of the brow and then it is softly blended into powder shading down to the arch and tail of the brow to create a defined look

WHAT TO EXPECT / AFTERCARE

Proper aftercare is a very important aspect of long-term success, effectiveness, health, and overall satisfaction with your new cosmetic tattoo. It's very important to follow the instructions given in order to

achieve the best possible results from your semi-permanent makeup procedure.

Included here are the aftercare instructions that will help limit any infection or problems, and assure healthy and successful healing as quickly as possible.

There will be minor redness and the chance of bruising and swelling immediately post treatment Whilst the area is healing there can be some mild itching, flaking and crusting, this is normal. Do not pick, peel, rub or touch the treated area with your fingers.

After treatment you will need to wipe your brows every 15 min for the first hour, with wipes/ cotton pads that are provided. On the hour apply a thin layer of aftercare to your brows. Just to protect them, not to hydrate.

Depending on your skin you will then wipe your brows and apply aftercare 1-2 times per day for the first 7-10 days

  • Do not use facial cleanser in the treated area for 5-7 days post treatment.

  • Do not wear makeup near the treated area for 3-4 days after the treatment, except a mineral powder approved by the technician.

  • Do not receive any beauty treatments around the area until they are healed.

  • Do not expose the treated skin to excessive sunlight, tanning treatments, saunas, spas, salt water, chlorinated water or direct shower spray.

  • Do not use AHA or Retina products on the brows as these will fade the pigment.

The following is a potential journey of what you may experience over the

next 4-6 weeks after your treatment. It is important to remember that

everyone experiences each of these differently

Day 1-2 your eyebrows will become darker and darker as the pigment and lymph oxidises. You will think and may even regret having your brows done at this point. They may even look like they are too big, or not even. This is normal

Day 7-10 The relief moment and thought of "that's more like it". You may have some crusting/flaking starting to form.

Day 14-25 "where have my eyebrows gone" it hasn't worked During this time, your healing skin cells are opaque or see through. With that you cannot actually see the pigment that was implanted. This is normal and the colour will reappear.

Day 21-28 "There they are!" And yes, they do need a touch up. Having a few hair strokes missing or parts of the hair strokes missing is quite normal. You can lose up to 40% of your colour and/or strokes between your first and second treatment,

Day 56+ We refresh your brows and do the second treatment. This will go through the same healing process as above. We do not treat every single hair stroke, so during the healing cycle your eyebrows can appear patchy.

Please note: We will endeavour to ensure that you are happy with your

brows but sometimes, very rarely a third treatment may be required.

Azaleabeautynz will inform you at your consult if this may be the case.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or if you

are unsure of what is happening with your brows.
