Policies as at 21/01/23
BOOKING FEES
A 50% non refundable booking fee is required to secure all appointments. This must be paid within 2 hours of booking an appointment. Please check your email for all details. If your appointment is less than or equal to $50 you must pay the full price of the service which will be non-refundable as it will count as the booking fee.
If you give 48hours or more notice when cancelling you are able to transfer your 50% booking fee to another time. You can do this only ONCE before you must pay another booking fee for a new appointment.

In the circumstance that I need to reschedule, the 50% booking fee will be transferred to a new appointment time

The fee is in place to secure the time set for your appointment and also protect my own time which I have set out for you. This also covers any time I put into contacting you etc.
There are TWO options when paying the deposit fee.

INFILL POLICY
To qualify for an infill you must have 50% or more remaining lashes. You will be charged for a full set if you have less than 50% Remaining. PLEASE COME TO YOUR APPOINTMENT FREE OF EYEMAKEUP.

CANCELLATIONS, NO SHOWS AND RESCHEDULING
IF YOU ARE 10MINUTES LATE TO AN APPOINTMENT IT WILL BE CANCELLED BY US ON THE SPOT AND YOUR DEPOSIT WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BE USED TOWARDS A NEW APPOINTMENT. YOU WILL NEED TO PAY ANOTHER BOOKING FEE TO SECURE A NEW APPOINTMENT. REFUNDS ARE AVAILABLE BY REQUEST (FEES APPLY)
If you do not show up to an appointment without letting us know, we will not take you on as a client for any services.
Same day cancellations incur a fee which is 100% of the service cost. 48hours or more notice is to be given if you decide to Reschedule/change your appointment time or you must pay another 50% booking fee to book/secure a new time.

LATE POLICY
If you are 10 minutes or more late then the artist reserves the right to cancel your appointment on the spot or you may be charged a $30 late fee
AGE POLICY
Under 18s require caregiver/parent consent! And must be present at the beginning of the appointment to sign the waiver form. (they do not have to stay during service)

REFUND POLICY
Any refunds given will be charged a 15% refund and handling fee on the total refund amount. (total refund amount does not include 50% booking fee).

GRACE PERIOD
If you are unhappy with a service, please contact Azaleabeauty within 72hours of your appointment to discuss your concerns. (for lashes - It will be done so with a complimentary 1hour touch up if its the fault of application or products) Any concerns addressed after 72 hours of your last appointment or if you failed to follow the proper aftercare instructions, will be charged at full price. Any grace period touch-ups must be booked in within 4 days of the complaint. You must make time or choose to pay for a later date as we will not take being lied to as a joke.

FULL PAYMENTS MADE BEFORE APPOINTMENTS
If you decide to pay in full before your appointment- Any rescheduling made WITH MORE THAN 48HOURS NOTICE will be eligible to have their booking fee used towards another appointment time (only once), however, there will be a 15% handling fee charged for any refunds made on the total refunded amount. Booking fees are non refundable​

By booking an appointment you accept that you have read, understand and agree to all policies.

TRAINING POLICIES
BOOKING FEE
A $500 non refundable booking fee must be made within 2 hours of booking your chosen training date.

CANCELLATIONS
BY YOU
You may attend on an alternative date providing you inform us at least 7 days prior to your
original Course date.
If the cancellation by you is due to change of mind and you no longer
wish to attend the course. The $500 booking fee you paid is not refundable.
BY US
We will endeavour to notify you at least 7 days prior to the Course date and advise you of and alternative date/venue OR provide you with a partial refund.
You are able to transfer your $500 booking fee to a later training date IF 7days or more notice is given.
REFUNDS
All refunds will incur a 30% handling fee charge.

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS​
Fees
Any appointments booked on a public holiday will incur a $40 public holiday fee.
​
This policy is to ensure that the trainers and students are fully aware of their responsibilities and work towards gaining mutual benefits.
​
Please note for the safety when working with tools and chemicals, we do not have children on-premise in our training facilities.
​
Model and Kit
Students will need to provide models to work on during practical training sessions. Depending on your course option, a professional kit for students to practice on the training days and for use after the training days is included in this course. Other necessary tools and equipment (apart from what's included in the kit) for the training will also be provided.
Graduation process
Students will receive a Certificate of Attendance upon finishing the training.
Once finished, students will need to complete and pass tasks/assignments assigned/instructed by the trainers in order to receive a Certificate of Achievement.​

Booking and Payment
A $500 non refundable booking fee is required to secure your spot in the training. The remaining of the course fee must be paid 1 week before the course starts.

The deposit may not be applicable if the student’s booking is at very short notice, thus, full payment for the course will be requested.
If your course payments are not paid in full 1 week prior to course commencement then you will not be allowed to undertake the course and no deferral date will be offered. The student will not be refunded their fees previously paid as they would be deemed a non-attendee.

Rescheduling, Cancelation, Fee & Refund
A $500 booking fee is required to secure your spot after registration and the rest is to be paid in full 1 weeks before the course starts. You must give 7 days notice if you need to cancel. If you do not give adequate notice (7days) In case of rescheduling, cancelation, or no-show, you will be charged 100% of your booking as a cancelation fee.
We might also have to reschedule, cancel the class or not be able to accept your enrolment due to unforeseen reasons. In case of denial, cancelation, or rescheduling, we will inform you 1 week prior to the date of the class. You can either accept or decline to join the class on the rescheduled date.
In case the class is canceled without a rescheduled date, or you decline to join the class on a rescheduled date, or we cannot accept your enrolment due to any reason, your booking fee is considered NON REFUNDABLE, however refund fees will be waived. The refund process will take up to 5-7 days.​
REFUNDS

By registering for a Training Class with Azaleabeautynz, I understand and agree to the following:

I understand and agree that in order to receive a certificate of completion, i must complete case studies to a high standard and pass the in house model assessment.

I understand and agree that my booking fee is non refundable.

I understand and agree that this is a specialty course which means i cannot transfer any payments to a new date unless otherwise organized with the trainers

I understand and agree that if I enroll in the course that will take place in less than 10 days, my booking fee is still non-refundable.

I understand and agree that the class and contents of the Kit are strictly NON-REFUNDABLE after attending the course and receiving the kit.

I understand and agree that I am required to bring my own model. If i need help finding one, i will notify the trainers.

I understand and agree that Azaleabeautynz has Property Rights of the Manuals and Training Program. Copying and publishing is not allowed without written consent of Azaleabeautynz

I understand and agree that Azaleabeautynz Training Manual is for personal use only. Legal actions will be taken against those who copy and/or publish the Azaleabeautynz Training Manuals.

I understand and agree to refrain from copying, disclosing, selling, or offering for sale any and all of the information provided during the training class.

I understand and agree that my remaining balance must be paid in full ATLEAST 7 days prior to my training.

Tooth Gems
Service Overview
The tooth gem application is a cosmetic procedure where a gem is placed on the surface of your tooth using a specialized adhesive. The procedure is non-invasive and does not involve drilling or damage to the tooth.
Azaleabeautynz uses a range of high quality - lead free gems such as Swarovski and preciosa crystals as well as 18k gold cut charms
Initial consultation

During consultation you will fill out a form outlining everything related to the service.

Following this you will get to choose your crystals. The shape, size and placement.

Please raise any questions or concerns during this time.
Application Process
-
A mouth guard will be used to keep your mouth open and a UV light is used to cure the bonding agents.

You will be asked to give a general idea of placement prior to commencing. During the final stage of placing the tooth gem you will be asked to confirm the position of the tooth gem. You MUST tell your technician if you would like to move it any other direction as once it is cured with the LED light it will be fixed/stuck there. Once agreed to the placement the tooth gem will be cured and set.

The application is generally painless. You may feel slight pressure, but it should not cause discomfort.
Post appointment

After the gem is applied, you may feel the gem on your tooth for a short period, but this sensation will typically fade as you adjust to it.

Post-Procedure Sensitivity: Some clients may experience mild tooth sensitivity or gum irritation immediately after the application. This is usually temporary and should resolve within a few hours.

You agree to follow proper aftercare (please read below)​​

Do not touch or play with the tooth gem directly
-
Do not lick the tooth gem or run your tongue around it for 24hours following
-
Do not eat or chew gum for 24 hour after the tooth gem is placed.

Do not smoke for 24 hours after the tooth gem is placed.
-
Eat only soft foods for the first 24hours hours.
-
For the first 4 hours, do not eat or drink
-
Acidic drinks such as alcohol should be avoided as it might weaken the bond of the gem 24hours
-
The adhesive takes 24 hours to acquire maximum strength.

Do not brush your teeth for 24hours hours. It is preferable to avoid using an electric toothbrush for the first 48 hours after a tooth gem has been placed. Always be careful biting into hard food where the tooth gem has been placed. This will affect the longevity of your tooth gem.

No teeth whitening products or services for 2 weeks

No mouth wash for 48hours
Risks and considerations

While tooth gem applications are generally safe, there are some inherent risks. These include:

Loosening of the Gem: Over time, the gem may become loose due to normal wear, eating hard foods, or brushing too vigorously.

Damage to the Tooth: If the gem is not cared for properly or if external force (like biting on hard objects) is applied, it could cause damage to the enamel or gums.

Discomfort: You may experience mild discomfort or sensitivity, especially if the gem is placed on a tooth that is already sensitive

If you have a known allergy to certain adhesives, metals, or gemstones (such as nickel or other alloys), it's crucial to inform your technician beforehand. Reactions could include redness, swelling, or irritation on the gums or surrounding tissue.
Aesthetic
consideration
Color Fading:

Over time, the gem may lose its shine, become discolored, or develop minor cracks, especially if exposed to certain foods, beverages (like coffee or red wine), or smoking.

Some clients may find that the gem’s appearance dulls, making it look less appealing than when it was first applied.
​Mismatch with Teeth: -
In some cases, the gem might not look as harmonious with the surrounding teeth as expected. For example, it may appear too large, small, or out of place with your natural smile. It’s important to choose a design that complements your teeth’s color and shape.
Gem retention

Each gem has a warranty of 2 months. During this period - if your gem has fallen off we will replace it ONE time at no extra charge. (subject to our discretion)

We will always try remedy the problem first and replace the gem before taking any further steps.

If you return for a replacement you will ensure there is no adhesive remaining on the tooth. If there is adhesive still on the area you're wanting the gem then your technician will advise you to get it removed or will advise that you get a gem in a different area.

There is no warranty for gold charms however a complimentary gem application may be offered (4x gems max)
Removal
-
Azaleabeautynz cannot remove any gems.
-
You must go to a dentist to remove any gems or adhesive that may remain on the tooth.
